Born in Sophia, Bulgaria. She studied visual arts in Venezuela, Great Britain (Sir John Cass College of Art, London) and Germany (Kunstakademie in Cologne and the School of Fine Arts in Hanover). In Venezuela, where she has been living since 1975, she runs her own studio and teaches drawing and graphics at the leading art schools in Caracas. Since 1969, she has taken part in numerous collective exhibitions in Venezuela and other countries in Americas (USA, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Colombia, Mexico), Europe (Germany, Italy, Belgium, Norway) and Asia (Japan, China). Winner of many awards and distinctions.
