Born in Caracas in 1949. He graduated from the Institute of Drawing of the Neumann Foundation in 1972 and deepened his knowledge in graphics in Atelier 93 in Paris (1980–1982). Between 1982 and 1986 he worked as an artist and educator in the USA (Pratt, New York). After a longer stay abroad (Italy, France, New York), he came back to Venezuela.
He has taken part in many individual and collective exhibitions in renown galleries in Venezuela, Spain, France, Germany, Uruguaj, United States, Korea, Colombia, Italy, Ecuador and Cuba.
He is the author of the Project of Latin America Integration “Un Marco por la Tierra” which gathers about 90 artists. The project was exhibited in Caracas and the most important Venezuelan museums, as well as in Bogota, Havana, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Puerto Rico and New York.
