Born on 10 August 1913 in Kęty, died on 8 September 2008 in Bielsko-Biała. Graduate at the Higher School of Visual Arts in Krakow where he studied under the supervision of Professors: Witold Chomicz, Jerzy Karolak and Stanisław Jakubowski. He received his degree in 1948. Since 1951, member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (membership card no. 2311). In 1949–1950 he worked as a teacher in the Secondary School of Graphics in Nowa Ruda (near Kłodzko) and then in the Cultural Centre and Co-operative “Dekoracja” in Katowice, and the Graphic Works in Bielsko-Biała. He moved to Bielsko-Biała in 1965. His main area of work was designing and creating sacral polychrome, works in gold and ornaments. He was also a graphic designer and a painter.
