Born in 1950 in Warsaw. He studied at the Faculty of Painting in the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He received his degree in 1980, in the studio of Prof. Jan Tarasin.
He is a painter. His particular area of interest is nature — mountains, forests, meadows and urban landscape — Warsaw, Paris as well as old architecture of small Mazovian towns: Przysucha, Mogielnica, Odrzywół. He uses photography to capture the real image which is then presented on canvas, cardboard or paper, becoming unrealistic thanks to light reflexes, sharpening or blurring the grounds, using the palette of broken colors.
