Born in Bydgoszcz, 1957. Painter, poet. Author of four books of poetry: Wszystko jedno (Bydgoszcz 1996), Wiersze wojenne (Warsaw 1997), Fosforyzujący pies (Siedlce 2007) and Wiersze średnie (1996, not published). Co-founder of the Szkoła Bydgoska artistic group (with Stanisław Stasiulewicz and Zbigniew Zieliński). Author of the 'theory of mediumness', which he presented in the introduction to his book Teoria średniości published in 2000 by the Klub Mózg in Bydgoszcz.

Currently he lives in Bohum (Germany), where he is also active on the local artistic scene (Rottstrasse 5 Gallery, FKT-Freies Kunst Territorium). Member of the ZPAP and artclub in Köln.

In his work, he is attracted by the ordinariness and beauty of small and medium-size things; whatever he does contains a considerable dose of utopia, conviction that behind the 'banality' noticed there is a hidden source of the truth about human life.
In 2008–2009, together with Paweł Hajncel, he presented a series of solo exhibitions entitled 'Meetings': in Galeria Bielska BWA, Bielsko-Biała; Galeria Kantorek (part of the Galeria Miejska BWA in Bydgoszcz) and in Galeria Manhattan, Łódź.
His works can be found in the collections of the Leon Wyczółkowski Museum in Bydgoszcz and Galeria Bielska BWA.
