Born in Wrocław, 1956; studied at the Painting Faculty, National Higher School of Fine Arts in Wrocław; degree in 1984 at Prof. Konrad Jarodzki’s studio. Scholarhip from the Ministry of Culture and Art. With her fellow students, she founded the LUXUS artistic group, with which she exhibited during the entire period of its existence (1983–1995).
Her painting is extremely eye-catching; she creates huge portraits set against ornamental, flowery backgrounds drawing upon both pop art and the characteristic Art Nouveau ornamentation. Her main inspiration is people, their emotions, feelings and dreams. Many of her paintings start as photographs, film stills or advertisements that have caught her attention and then prompt her to develop the idea. Now she is an active artist, interior designer and graphic artist.
