Born in 1945 in Katowice. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Faculty of Graphic Arts in Katowice. Diploma in 1974, from graphic art in the studio of Prof Andrzej Pietsch, from the poster in the studio of Prof Tadeusz Grabowski, from a book under the direction of Prof Stanisław Kluska.
He founded and ran a screen printing workshop in the years 1975–1986 and 1991–1998 at the Art Institute of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn.

He works in applied art. He designs posters, books, graphic signs, commemorative medals and small sculptural forms. He works with the city of Cieszyn, with neighboring communes as part of the Local Government Association of the Cieszyn Region and with the Euroregion Śląsk Cieszyński.
