Born in 1957 in Bydgoszcz. Graduate from the Nicolaus Copernicu University in Toruń and the State School of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, the Faculty of Painting. He received her diploma in 1982, in the studio of Prof. Kazimierz Śramkiewicz.
Winner of national painting competitions: 'Bielska Jesien' (twice: 1983, 1985), BWA, Bielsko-Biała; Jan Spychalski Competition (also twice), BWA Arsenał, Poznań.
