Piotr Kossakowski, Grzegorz Hańderek and Michał Minor form an informal group whose artistic creations in the fields of painting, poster art and video provide a commentary on the current socio-cultural reality of life in Poland.

He paints portraits of celebrities, artists and politicians. He also paints pictures of devastated and littered cities that can be described as industrial elegies on the subject of contemporary life captured within the confines of abstract multicoloured images.

He is the recipient of scholarships from the H. Kołłątaj Foundation (2003), the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2004) and the Marshal of the Province of Silesia (2008). In 2004 he was awarded a prize in the Samsung Art Master Competition ('Fabryka Trzciny', Warsaw).

Recipient of an honorary mention at the Poster Festival in Kraków (Palace of Art of the Fine Arts Society, 2005) and 39th Painting Biennale Bielska Jesień 2009 (Galeria Bielska BWA, 2009) where his featured work was purchased for the collection of the Foundation for Silesia). In 2010 he participated in two events organized by Galeria Bielska BWA: the 'Sphere of Art Art Fair and the 'Very Good Paintings' Exhibition.
