Born in Mszana Górna, 1956; studied under the tutelage of Professor Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1976-1981), from which he graduated with honours in 1981. A sculptor and medallist. In 2007, he created sculptures in New York in collaboration with the renowned architect Peter Marino. He has received many awards including the Gold Medal at the 7th Biennale Internazionale del Bronzetto Dantesco in Ravenna (1985) and the 1994 Icarus Award of the Mayor of Bielsko-Biała for his outstanding artistic achievements. In 2008 the President of the Republic of Poland presented him with the Gold Cross of Merit. His works can be found in many collections in Poland and abroad.
