Born in Zakopane, 1973; studied under Professor Andrzej Gieraga at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź; received his degree in painting in 2000. Presently he teaches at the Section of Audiovisual Projects of the Department of New Media of the Szczecin Academy of Arts. In 2007 he received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Winner of numerous awards and honorary mentions, including the Young Artists Award of the National Bank of Poland (2004), the Format Magazine Award and an honorary mention from the jury of the Fifth National Exhibition of Young Painters and the 6th E. Geppert Competition as well as the Annual Award of the Arteon magazine (2005). He was the Grand Prix winner of the 39th “Bielska Jesień 2009” Painting Biennial, during which he also received an honorary mention from the Editorial Board of Art & Business.
