Born in 1946 in Wilkowice. He studied in the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Łódź (today’s Academy of Fine Arts). Degree in decorative textile, promoter Prof. Aniela Bogusławska (unique textile under the supervision of Prof. Antoni Starczewski) and painting, promoter Prof. Roman Modzelewski (1971).
Since graduation he worked in the State School of Visual Arts in Bielsko-Biała, teaching drawing, painting and artistic textile.
His interests lie in painting and unique textile. Awards: distinction in the painting competition “Woman”, Katowice (1972); 2nd Award in the district exhibition in Bielsko-Biała (1979), distinction in the 7th International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial, Krosno (2012).
