Born in 1957 in Caracas. Graduate at the Cristóbal Rojas School of Fine Arts in Caracas (Graphics) and the Universities in Rio de Janeiro and Ouro Preto in Brazil. In 1977-1982 he travelled to gather materials for his research in the area of Pre-Colombian Art (the Andes, Amazonia). He was the professor of drawing and graphic techniques in the Institute of Drawing in Caracas, and he currently teaches in the department of Graphics of the Armando Reverón Fine Arts University Institute in Caracas. He has presented his works at many individual and collective exhibitions in Venezuela and other American countries (Brazil, Peru, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, USA) and in Europe (Spain, France, Italy).
Winner of prestigious national and foreign awards. He also seated in jury in many graphic competitions, such as “Young Graphics” in Havana (1995) or the T.A.G.A.  Biennial of Graphic Miniatures in Caracas (1997).
