Born in 1984 in Białystok; graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań; degree in painting under Professor Piotr C. Kowalski and Dr Paweł Leszkowicz (2009); student of Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies at the University of Arts in Poznań under academic supervision of Dr Dominik Lejman (since 2014). Scholarships from the “Young Poland” (National Cultural Centre, 2014) and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2012). Winner of the Marshal of the Pomerania Province Award in the 8th Biennale of Young Art „Fish Eye” in Słupsk (2015); Grand Prix at the International Painting Competition Modessqe (Kraków, 2013), Second Prize from the Marshal of Silesia Province in the 40th Biennale of Painting “Bielska Jesień 2011” (third prize in 2009), Galeria Bielska BWA, Bielsko-Biała. Finalist of the 10th Geppert Competition at Galeria BWA Awangarda (Wrocław, 2011); Second Prize in the 2nd International Painting Competition “Public Spaces - Context,” Centrum Kultury Zamek in Poznań (2010) and Third Prize in the 20th National Review of Young Painting “Promotions” in Legnica (2010). The artist usually treads a path of near abstraction and oblique statements, thus giving the viewer an opportunity to discover the work on their own.
