Born in Poznań in 1933; graduated from the Silesian University of Technology (1956); since 1968 a member of the Polish Association of Visual Artists; an expert of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage; since 1998 interested in the concept of imaginary three-dimensional space in painting and related arts (3D, 6D). Winner of over 40 prizes and awards in poster competitions. His posters can be found in the collections of the Poster Gallery of the National Museum in Warsaw. His prints can be also found in the collections of 500 museums and libraries and on the Directory of Print CD-ROM published by the organizers of the Kraków International Print Triennial.
