Born in 1936 in Biała Krakowska. In 1954-1959 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, in the studios of Prof. Jan Świderski and Wacław Taranczewski. He received his degree in 1959 in the studio of Prof. Jerzy Fedkowicz. Right after graduating, apart form canvas painting, he also preserved sacral scultpture, polychrome and painted the interiors of Roman catholic churches. In 1974-2002 he was a teacher of art and vocational subjects in the State School of Visual Arts in Bielsko-Biała. He lives in Żywiec. Since 1959, member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (membership card no. 4962). He mainly work in oil painting on fibreboard. Until the 1970’s he created abstract paintings, then human (mainly female) figures began to appear, pictured together with animals — rabbits, apes, fish, cocks, turkeys, dogs, goats, bulls.
