Born in 1940 in Rytro. Graduated with distinction in 1968 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Design. Since 1968 he has been living and working in Nowy Sącz. He took part in numerous collective and international plein-air exhibitions in Poland and abroad: France, Bulgaria, Slovakia, former USSR (Russia, Georgia, Ukraine). He works in painting, printmaking, etching, drawing. He had 16 individual exhibitions in the years 1975-1989. Winner of many honors, awards and distinctions for his artistic achievements and contribution in the area of culture and arts. Between 1977 and 1980 he worked as the Voivodshiop Visual Inspector. Appraiser of the Ministry of Culture and Arts in the area of contemporary visual arts. At present, he is the chairman of the Regional Branch of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers.
