Born in 1971 in Sosnowiec; honours degree in intaglio under Professor Stanisław Kluska and in drawing and painting under Professor Jacek Rykała at the Department of Graphic Arts of the Katowice branch of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in 1996; Ph.D in 2010.
Grant from the Ministry of Culture and Arts (1996); nomination for the Icarus Award of the President of Bielsko-Biała in 2011 and 2013; the Audience Award at the 41st Biennale of Painting Bielska Jesień 2013; honorable mention in the same competition in 2011; the Third Prize for the Hipersztuka project (together with Michał Kopaniszyn) at the Art Exhibition at Galeria Bielska BWA in Bielsko-Biała (2004); honourable mention from the Katowice branch of Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper at the art fair Sfera Sztuki in Bielsko-Biała (2010).
