Born on 3 April 1946 in Gdynia. Graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdynia in 1972. He obtained his degree in the studio of Władysław Jackiewicz. After graduation, he worked as an assistant in the Institute of Visual Design. Moved to Olsztyn in 1974. Co-founder of the student theatre „Po obu stronach snu” (At Both Sides of the Sleep). Since 1974 member of the Olsztyn branch of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. He held the position of the City Visual Inspector in Olsztyn.
