In the 1960s and 1970s, he wrote articles about art for various magazines, eg "Więź" November 1976 entitled "6th Festival of Fine Arts in Warsaw". He was arrested in October 1968 for taking part in the events of March '68. He worked at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
