Born in 1971 in Cieszyn. He studied at the Faculty of Painting in the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Degree with distinction in the studio of Prof. Stefan Gierowski and Krzysztof Wyzner (1995). Stipendiary of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (1995, 2007). Nominated to the “Ikar” Award of the President of Bielsko-Biała in the field of culture and arts (2006). His works are displayed on permanent exhibition in the Zapiecek Gallery in Warsaw. His paintings were reproduced in the album published by the Presidential Gallery in Warsaw, together with the works of such renown artists as Jerzy Nowosielski, Stefan Gierowski and Jan Tarasin. He presented his installations during several editions of the International Street Art Festival in Warsaw. He authored a drawing tutorial (“Nauka rysunku”, Wydawnictwo Park 2005, 2007). At present, Professor in the University of Bielsko-Biała, at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
His works were displayed in over a dozen of individual and several dozen collective exhibitions.
He works in the area of easel painting, printmaking, sculpture and installations. He is the author of happenings and public installations.
