Born in 1951 in Bielsko-Biała. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, the Faculty of Graphic Design in Katowice. Associate professor of arts at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Head of the Computer Graphics Studio in the Institute of Arts of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn. He received the title of Professor of the University of Silesia in 2003. He took part in over 120 collective and post-contest exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Selected awards and distinctions: International Art Competition, The Pekao Gallery, Toronto, Canada, 2000; IV Computer Art Biennale, Rzeszów, 2000; International Exlibris Competition, Gliwice 2001; International Ex-libris Competition „Stara Kniha”, Rijeka, Chorwacja, 2001; VI Biennale internationale d’art miniature, Ville-Marie, Kanada, 2002; Art Exhibition, Bielska Gallery BWA, Bielsko-Biała, 2004; The Iowa Biennial Exhibition of Contemporary Miniature Prints, Iowa City, USA, 2006; Silver Cross of Merit — civil state award, 2005. Member of the International Triennial of Graphics Association in Krakow.
