Zuzanna Hertzberg (Zuzanna Ziółkowska) born in 1981 in Warsaw – painter, author of installations and performative actions as well as art activist and educator.

A graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, she obtained her diploma with the Rector's Distinction in the Painting Studio of Prof. Leon Tarasewicz and Dr Paweł Susid (2011). She is also a graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. In 2018, she received her doctoral degree from the Faculty of Media Art under the artistic supervision of Prof. Leon Tarasewicz and Prof. Krzysztof Wodiczko.
She received scholarships from the project: the Inter-University Multimedia Specialisation (2012/2013) and the ZAIKS Authors Association (2015). Participant of the Innovating Science Communication at Medical Museums workshop in Leiden (the Netherlands, 2014) and the artist residency programme in Litomyšl (Czech Republic, 2015). She was the Polish representative at the 4th UNESCO Biennale – Art Camp 2014 in Andorra.
 

She creates paintings, installations and site-specified realisations touching on the problem of identity and post-memory; she works with art science and historical reconstructions 'expanding the space of memory'.
