Born in 1985 in Szczecin, degree in painting under Professor Teresa Miszkin at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in 2010; honorary PhD degree at his alma mater in 2015. Grant from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2010, 2009) and the Marshal of the Pomeranian Province (2009).
Winner of the Audience Award in the 44th Bielsko Autumn 2019 Painting Biennale, in which he also received a statutory distinction; finalist of the 43rd edition of this competition (2017) and winner of a distinction in the 41st edition of Bielsko Autumn 2013, BWA Gallery, Bielsko-Biała (2013).
Nomination for the Pomeranian Artistic Award 2016, Gdańsk (2016); Rector's Award of the Academy of Fine Arts, Gdańsk (2015, 2013); the City of Gdańsk Awards for Young Artists in the Field of Culture (2011); Rectors’ Award – at the Best Degree competition of the Academy of Fine Arts, Gdańsk (2010); Special Prize at the Hestia Artistic Journey competition (2010); Format Art Magazine Award at the 10th Geppert Competition, Wrocław (2011).
