Irena Nawrot, born in 1960 in Jarosław. Graduate of the Institute of Artistic Education at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, diploma in 1983 in Prof. Marian Stelmasik's painting studio. Currently she runs the Department of Visual Knowledge at the Institute of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Arts of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University, full professor of film art. Author of 32 individual exhibitions, took part in 74 group presentations. She lives and works in Lublin. Since 1985 she has been cooperating with the Biała Gallery.
