Andrzej Ziółkowski – was born in 1954 in Gdynia. In the 1970s he studied electronics in Gdansk.

After many years of working in the electronics industry, 20 of them in an international electronics corporation in Singapore, he has been devoting himself to his passion for photography since 2005. He has traveled through Southeast Asian countries, India, Nepal and Tibet, trying to capture in photography the universal dimension of human spirituality, regardless of religious affiliation.

The exhibition "The Inward Moment. Człowiek wobec sacrum" along with the accompanying album of the same title, is the fruit of his photographic and spiritual journey.

In his photographs, the author weaves a fascinating tale about the followers of seven great religions.

Its characters are united by their desire for contact with the sacred. They help us understand that despite differences in religious traditions, rituals or forms of expression, the desires of all people of faith are similar. We begin to see how little we differ and how much we have in common.
