Since 1999 she has been working with Jan Smaga, and since 2005 she also has been realizing her own project. Her main field of interest are identity and image of a man — transferred by a medium that, by its very nature, manipulates the reality and is often additionally transformed itself. The recurring motives in her works are: absence, invisibility, disappearing, removing, playing somebody else’s role or dismemberment (e.g. Striptease, Untitled Film Stills). The artist presents the existential and ontological issues, exposing the sophisticated artistic solutions at the same time. Since 2007 she has been creating large, monochromatic dolls of wool and lentils.
