Born in 1947 in Wrocław. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1971.  In the 70’s and 80’s she worked with Przemysław Kwiek in the KwieKulik duo — at that time she was focusing mainly on performance art. In the 70’s she developed Oskar Hansen’s concept of open form in her artistic work.

The artist addressed the topics of power, totalitarism, gender relations. In her house near Warsaw, she has gathered the archives about Polish neo-avant-garde. Since mid-eighties she has been creating photo collages. Winner of the Paszport Polityki Award in 1996. She represented Poland at the Biennial in Venice in 1997. Her works can be found, among others, in the collection of the Museum of Arts in Łódź.
