Eva Macalós GLAÉ – Brazilian artist born in 1941. Graduate of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre – UFRGS, majoring in Sculpture (1966) and Drawing (1969). Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning – FALPA in 1980. She also studied graphic techniques: metal engraving with Wilson Cavalcante in 1992–1994 and lithography at Atelier Livre with Danube Gonaalves in 1986–1996.
She is a multiple award winner, including the Gold Medal at the Novo Hamburgo Art Salon (1995); second place at the Fundarte Drawing and Engraving Salon in Montenegro, and others.
The artist's graphic works were shown at the exhibition “Art of South America” 1998–1999, presented at the Bielska BWA Gallery in Bielsko-Biała (an exhibition of graphics, paintings, and archaeological objects by artists from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela, November 20, 1998–January 10, 1999). The exhibition was initiated by Venezuelan artist Aida Cortez. Brazilian artists Claudia Sperb and Emilson da Silva were co-curators of the exhibition.
