Born in 1963 in Mińsk Mazowiecki; graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw; honours degree under professors Tadeusz Dominik, Zbigniew Gostomski and Ryszard Winiarski (1989). Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and the Arts (2008); Polish Culture Foundation (1999); Culture Foundation (1997); Stefan Batory Foundation (1993) and Egit Foundation (1991). Artistic residency in Broadway Gallery in New York (USA, 2012). Currently a PhD student of the Institute of Fine Arts, at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce; Grand Prix at the exhibition “Image of the Year” organized by the Polish Artists Union in Warsaw (2009). Participant of the Biennale of Contemporary Art “Creativiti” in Verona (Italy, 2014), competition for the design of the exhibition in the Polish Pavilion in Venice (2015). “New York Art Magazine” ran an article devoted to the artist (2014), and also promoted his work in New York galleries: Zach Feuer (2014) and Broadway Gallery (2013). The artist creates paintings on the border between minimalist geometric abstraction and figuration. His art is of contemplative character.
