Born in Rybnik, 1982; studied under Professor Piotr C. Kowalski at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, from which she graduated in 2007; studied under the Masters of Fine Arts Programme at the Dutch Art Institute in Enschede, the Netherlands (2008-2010). From 2006 to 2007 she was sponsored under the Socrates-Erasmus programme to take a course in fine arts at Nottingham Trent University. Recipient of scholarships from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2006/2007). In 2009, she received the Audience Award at the 39th Bielska Jesień Painting Biennial. The medium by which she expresses her art encompasses all forms of abstract painting and works of installation art inspired by ornaments, fashion, art history, politics, human behaviour, mass production and the phenomena of disintegration and transcendence. She also derives artistic inspiration from the general field of design, especially computer-generated designs and fabric patterns, which in themselves often represent the essence of the rhythms, structures and colours that define the aesthetics of any given cultural period.
