Born in 1902 in Poręba-Żegoty near Krakow where his father was the administrator of count Szembek’s premises. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, learning from S. Kamocki, J. Mehoffer and J. Pieńkowski. He graduated with distinction. Thanks to recommendations of Prof. J. Wojnarowski, he received a scholarship and left for Italy. Member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers and Zachęta Association. Prisoner of Dachau concentration camp during the World War II. The works he created there belong now the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow. The Association of Art Historians organized his post-mortem exhibition. His works were presented in Spain and Canada. He died in August 1977.
