Born in 1948 in Piastowo near Warsaw. Graduate of the State School of Theatre Techniques where he encountered art for the first time, tutored by the painter Zbigniew Tymoszewski. In the years 1970-1975 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He graduated in painting under the studio of painting led by Prof. Tadeusz Dominik, and additionally in painting in architecture under the supervision of Prof. Stanisław Dawski. Academic lecturer since 1975, until 1986 the assistant to Prof. Jacek Sienicki in the studio of painting. Since 1987 he has been the head of drawing studio for students of II, III and IV year.
