Born on 22 March 1940 in Połchów, Kaszuby region. Graduated in 1961 from the School of Visual Techiniques in Gdynia Orłowo (speciality in lettering and advertising). In the years 1961-1967 she studied in the State School of fine Arts in Gdańsk, at the Faculty of Painting with the specialisation in artistic ceramics. Tutored by Prof. Jacek Żuławski, Prof. Stanisław Teisseyre, Kiejstut Bereźnicki. Moved to Olsztyn in 1967, where he received the scholarship of the Department of Culture and Art of the Presidium of the Voiovodship National Council. He first worked in the Voivodship Cultural Center in Olsztyn. Died on 30 June 2007. He worked in the area of easel painting, figural painting showing man and his existential problems through classic techniques and esthetic values. He liked still nature, genre scenes, motherhood allegories. An important part of his work were female acts in large formats, in whitened, slightly misty tones.
