Born in Poznań in 1980; studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, the Faculty of Artistic Education (2000-2005) and the Faculty of Painting (2003-2005). Honours Degrees: dissertation under Prof. Alicja Kępińska and artistic work under Wojciech Łazarczyk, Ph.D. (2005). Currently working as an assistant at the Painting and Drawing Department at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. Grant from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2008); twice nominated for the “Kulturyści: award granted by the Polish Radio for achievements in the field of culture and arts (2011, 2013) and for the “Paszport Polityki” award (2011, 2012). Winner of the “Łódzkie Eureka 2012” award granted by the Council for Higher Education under the Mayor of the City of Łódź; First Prize in the “Talenty Trójki” contest held by Polish Radio Programme 3 (2010); honorary mention and commendation by the editors of Art & Business magazine at the 38th Painting Biennale “Bielska Jesień 2007” at the BWA Gallery, Bielsko-Biała (2007).
