Born in 1956 in Cieszyn. He studied graphics and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice and Kraków. Żegalski was the leader of the nonexistent Grupa Trzech / "Tercet Nadęty". The group consisted of Żegalski, Janusz Szpyt and Piotr Naliwajko. Currently, he lives both in Poland and in Belgium. He practices easel painting, ceiling painting and fresco. His art often takes the iconoclastic and controversial direction.
