Enrico Armas was born in Caracas in Venezuela in 1957. In 1978 he received a scholarship from the French government and traveled to Paris, studied sculpture and engraving at the School of Decorative Arts in Nice (1978-1980), at the School of Fine Arts in Paris and later in graphic arts at the School of Decorative Arts. At the same time, he completed internships at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. In 1981 he returned to Venezuela and studied at the Neumann Institute until 1983, when he resumed his studies at El Cegra, to graduate in 1984. He participated in many collective exhibitions. His artworks could be found in many privite and museum collections.
