Winner of the ex aequo Grand Prix of the 46th edition of the Biennale Painting Bielska Jesień (2023), as well as 3rd Prize in the 45th edition of the Bielska Jesień Biennale (2021).

 

 

Born in 1992 in Warsaw. Graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts and the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Diploma in the studio of Prof. Jarosław Modzelewski and in the Spatial Activities Studio of Prof. Mirosław Bałka (2021).

Co-founder of the now-defunct Kiedyś to Będzie Gallery, which won an honourable mention in the Young Wolves competition (2019).

He is the winner of the Grand Prix ex aequo of the 46th edition of the Bielska Autumn Biennale (2023), the Grand Prix ex aequo of the 14th edition of the Geppert competition (2023), the mBank "m as painting" award (UpComing, 2021) and the third prize in the 45th edition of the Bielska Autumn Biennale (2021). Finalist of the 19th edition of the Hestia Artistic Journey competition (2021).

Author of the individual exhibition "too late for late capitalism & Studio Tatuażu Im. Leszka Balcerowicza" at Alterpose Studio (Warsaw, 2021).

His works in 2022 took part, among others: in the group exhibition "Anxiety comes at dusk" at Zachęta - National Gallery of Art and the 14th edition of the festival WARSAWA IN CONSTRUCTION - "Fight for the streets" at the Museum of Modern Art. W 2020: "Effects of pandemics: dreams" at the Heart of Man Gallery (Warsaw, 2020); "Nec Temere Nec Timide" at Pawlacz Gallery (Gdańsk, 2020); "Welcome to Hell #5" at Death to Losers Gallery (Warsaw, 2019); "Pedagogical Body" at Raster Gallery (Warsaw, 2019).

In the works from his latest series, the artist refers to the humanitarian crisis on the border between

Polish-Belarusian border, revealing the dramatic situation of refugees.
