Tomasz Ratajczak (born 1971) in Wrocław, typographer, teacher, musician, cultural animator, lettering enthusiast.
In 1998 he graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Arts, University of Silesia branch in Cieszyn - a student of Alfred Biedrawa, Ewa Chojecka, diploma in painting in 1998 under Prof. Kazimierz Cieślik.
Since 2012, he has been working as a teacher of graphic arts at the Bielsko-Biała Industrial School.
Founder of the flyingFISH Letterpress hand printing studio, populariser of print, black art - typography. His activity in this field contributes to the popularisation of the disappearing art of manual typesetting and traditional printing techniques, and he invariably strives to reactivate it in a new, artistic version.
He conducts workshops for young people and those interested in traditional printing techniques.
He cooperates with the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Association "Areszt Sztuki", the cultural and literary magazine "Vari-Art." and the Provincial Public Library in Olsztyn (Old Printing Techniques Studio).
Originator and curator of the international typographic project LemPress 2020 and Lempress 2021. Co-organiser of the international typographic project: we print CopernicusPress 2022 and CopernicusPress.
