Jacek Swidzinski (born 1988) – comic book creator, culture expert, member of the Mashin group.
Author of seven comics albums, for which he has received many awards, including the „Polityka” Passport in the Book category for ‘Festival’ (2023) and – also for „Festival” – the award for the best Polish comics album at the International Comics Festival in Łódź (2023).
As a comics writer, he has collaborated with, among others, „Przekroj”, the magazine „View. Theories and Practices of Visual Culture”, Zachęta – National Gallery of Art, National Museum in Cracow, Warsaw Autumn Festival, Off Festival, Klub Komediowy, Grand Theater – National Opera. He is a comic columnist for the online culture magazine „Dwutygodnik.com”.
Author of the individual presentation „Festival” created for the joint exhibition of author's projects by Michal Slezkin and Jacek Swidzinski entitled „POKÓJ” taking place at the Galeria Bielska BWA, in 2024 (12.04–02.06.2024).
