Born on January 10, 1950 in Katowice. Graphic artist, poster designer, winner of numerous international awards. He studied graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the studio of Professor Henryk Tomaszewski. He completed a number of internships at prestigious European design agencies. Between 1970 and 1981 he designed numerous film and theater posters, creating posters for the films Man of Marble, Man of Iron, Nikifor, and theater plays: Hamlet (with Andrzej Krauze, National Theatre in Warsaw) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw), The Wedding, King Henry IV (Jaracz Theatre in Lodz), Hamlet, Pat, Scapino (Raamtheater in Antwerp). At the end of the 70s, together with Tomek Sikora, he created illustrated books. In 1981 his works represented Poland at the Biennale of Modern Art in Paris. In 1984 he was honored by Macmillan Publishers, which listed him among the most outstanding designers and architects of the 20th century. During martial law he lived in Belgium where he gained experience in the advertising industry and set up his own agency, as well as teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. After returning to Poland he became a co-owner and creative director of Corporate Profiles agency (currently the Warsaw branch of DDB agency), one of the most awarded Polish advertising agencies. Campaigns of which he is the author (Lotto, Ikea, Lot, Tyskie) won many awards at Polish and international advertising festivals. Jury member of Cannes Advertising Festival in 2001. Chairman of the jury at the 20th International Poster Biennale.
